About Me

Hello! My name is Lisa and I’m a pianist, organist and composer in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

I’m also the proud mom of 2 kids and am engaged to my true love, Marc Stockert.

I am the Organist/Accompanist and Communications Coordinator at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church in New Hope, MN, where I’ve served since 2004.

I have a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota – Duluth, and a Bachelor of Music degree (emphasis in Organ Performance) from the University of Wisconsin – Superior. My organ teachers were Dr. Justin Rubin (UMD) and the late Dr. Norma Stevlingson (UWS).

I also own the popular family blog “Twin Cities Frugal Mom” which is all about saving money, parenting and family fun here in Minnesota.

In 2011, two other composers and I released a CD of our compositions – 5 each – under the name “Trinitus.” The other composers are Iver Hubert and Braden Canfield, and they’re incredibly talented.

You can listen to and/or purchase that CD on Amazon.com here.

Thanks to your support on Kickstarter, I released my own CD “Believing is Seeing” with 13 original keyboard compositions. There were 47 backers who pledged $2,806 to help bring this project to life! I appreciate every single person who helped me make this dream a reality.
